New Selangor MB Announcement Tomorrow Morning | SHAH ALAM: The Selangor palace will only announce the name of the new Chief Minister of Selangor tomorrow morning on the day of the swearing-highest office of the state administration is scheduled to take place.
Private Secretary to the Sultan of Selangor, Datuk Mohamad Munir Bani, said this was because Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah has yet to give his assent to announce it today.
"Excuse me, Your Majesty has not yet consented to do 'statement' (statement) today. Announcement and press release will be made tomorrow morning," he said when contacted today.
Name of the Legislative Assembly (Assemblyman) Hill International, Mohamad Azmin Ali; Cempaka assemblyman Iskandar Abdul Samad; and Assemblyman Sijangkang, Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi, touted as a candidate to fill the post of Chief Minister of Selangor's 15th.
Last Friday, the Selangor Palace reportedly will announce the new name of the Chief Minister as late today rely on the consent of the Sultan Sharafuddin.
Mohamad Munir reportedly said that an announcement will be made either through a press release or press conference.
The swearing-in of the new Chief Minister of Selangor Palace is scheduled to be held in Shah Alam, Klang, at 10 am tomorrow.
